Robert (Bob) Lepp, Registered Roof Observer (RRO) - Bob began his consulting career almost twenty years ago with Inter-Coast Consulting Ltd. where he provided assessment, design, field review and contract administration services. Projects included the replacement of the main hangar roof at the former BCIT Aviation campus in addition to several roofs at the main campus in Burnaby. Bob has been approved as an accepted roofing inspector by the Roofing Contractors Association of BC since 1995.
In 1998, Bob co-founded JRS Engineering Ltd. (“JRS”). At JRS, he oversaw dozens of re-roofing projects for many different clients including Metro Vancouver. Among his responsibilities, Bob provided oversight guidance and training to junior technologists and other staff. In addition, it was Bob’s responsibility to ensure and instill a strong customer service ethic within the organization. In 2001, Bob became one of the first people to achieve the Registered Roof Observers designation. He is also a past director of RCI Western Chapter.
Looking for new challenges and opportunities, Bob joined the team at Busque Engineering. Bob is responsible for coordinating the involvement of other Busque Engineering Limited team members and advising on policies and procedures. Bob is in charge of the Busque Engineering Limited roofing activities and performs building envelope condition assessments.
